Things You'll Need
Water Jugs
Insulated Carafe
Plastic Bottles
Solution:
If you're always looking for ways to save money on your home utility bills there are some really easy things that you can do to save money at your house!

1. Fill empty spaces in your refrigerator and freezer with water jugs, you'll save energy and money because, it takes more energy to run an empty refrigerator and freezer than a full one.

2. Pour your coffee into an insulated carafe in the morning so you don't waste electricity keeping the coffee maker on for hours!

3. Only run your dishwasher when it's full. It takes a lot of energy to heat the water and run the machine. Plus, if you have an energy saver cycle use it! Or turn the machine off after the wash cycle and let the dishes air dry!

4. If you have an older toilet, save water by putting a plastic bottle filled with water into the tank, opposite the flush unit. This will ensure that the toilet uses less water to flush.
