Things You'll Need
Colander
Funnel
Kitchen Towel
Glass
Eggs
Solution:
I love tools that I can use for more than one purpose, especially in the kitchen where space can be at a premium.

1. Your colander can be used to strain pasta, but you can also use it to easily rinse fruits and veggies in the sink. Or turn it upside down over a stack of french toast, pancakes or regular toast as you make them, cover with a kitchen towel. This will keep the food warm without drying it out like to oven could, or making it soggy from condensation if you flip a pot or bowl over it!

2. How about your funnel? It fills narrow necked bottles with ease, but did you know it's a great tool for separating eggs. Place the funnel in a tall glass. Crack the egg into the funnel, the white will drain through and the yolk will stay put! This will leave both hands free so you have less chance of breaking the yolk!

3. We all have a few of those rubber jar grips stashed in the drawer somewhere. Pull one out the next time you need to peel a few cloves of garlic. Put the garlic on the grip and fold it over the clove. Then roll back and forth under your fingers. The gripper will gently remove the papery skin from the garlic in no time flat!
