The DIY diva got her start simply - she married Mr. Break-it. She says, "My husband is very successful on his own merit, but when it comes to fixing things around the house, his favorite solution is to hire someone to do the work. Things were breaking and needing repair around our home, as I'm sure you can identify with...come on, stop and think! I bet you can name at least three things around your house that need to be done or repaired! After watching expenses mount, and trying to schedule hired workers to come in to fix things, I decided to roll up my sleeves and try to make a go of it myself. I thought I might save money and time by making repairs on my own time schedule. That's how the idea for Mrs. FIXIT was born".
