Founded in 1995, The Communicator Awards competition recognizes excellence in individuals and companies within the field of communication, and it holds annual competitions for print and video media. The Vision Awards competition is designed to honor the people who create local and regional television commercials and video programs. Entries in 44 categories from throughout the United States are judged for creativity, production quality, copywriting, concept, talent and overall effectiveness.

Syndicated in more than 65 markets across the United States and Canada, Mrs. FIXIT provides two-three packages a week on easy to do, cost effective household tips and home repairs. Terri McGraw is Mrs. FIXIT and also serves as executive producer for the series. Colleen Rosenthal is the creative director and production manager and Al Lauricella completes the production team as videographer and editor.

In addition to the news segments Mrs. FIXIT has been growing by leaps and bounds. 2002 marked her national television debut on the hugely popular talk shows ABC's The View and LIVE with Regis & Kelly. Her best selling how-to handbook Mrs. FIXIT Easy Home Repair is also meeting with continued success, and Mrs. FIXIT can be heard on over 150 radio station across the country monthly. The holidays saw Mrs. FIXIT launch a new product line of practical gifts with a twist, and in early 2003 the franchise will re-launch it's already successful website www.mrsfixit.com.
