How many times have you headed to the laundry room with a basket full of clothes only to fumble with the light on the way? Try this: install a motion sensing light switch in the laundry room.

This switch will sense your movement and switch on as you enter the room and then it shuts off after a minute of no activity. Don't feel like re-wiring, you can find motion detectors that screw into existing fixtures and will do the same thing. |

Another great idea; illuminated light switches. These lights guide you right to the switch. You can also buy lighted outlets to help guide you to the plug in the dark. |
