Solution:
Whether you need some storage or you're just looking for a unique and inexpensive bookcase or media center, check the plumbing section of your local home improvement store for the solution.

1. Make a trip to the home improvement center. Pick up various straight pipes, flanges and some three-quarter inch plywood. (A tip - have your plywood cut to the size you would like at the store to save yourself the trouble).

2. Pre-finish your plywood shelves. A good latex furniture paint will make the shelves look great!

3. Place four flanges on the bottom four corners of one of your shelves. Mark the screw locations, pre-drill some holes. Then affix the flanges with some screws.

4. Repeat the process on the top side of the shelf.

5. Twist a length of pipe securely into each of the flanges.

6. Twist another flange on the top of each pipe.

7. Place the next shelf on top of the flange and again, mark the locations, drill your pilot holes and secure in place. (Repeat the flange and pipe process upwards for any additional shelving)
