| Solution: |
| We probably all made a milk carton birdhouse at one time when we were young, but did you know that milk cartons and jugs can help you out all over the house. Rinse them out and put them to use! |

| 1.
Small pint sized cartons or full sized cartons cut down are great for starting seedlings before the spring planting season. Or use them to protect small items when you're moving. Just slip your knick-knacks inside and you don't have to worry about them getting damaged. You can also cut the tops off of several of these cartons and use them to organize socks, stockings and jewelry in your dresser. |

| 2.
Recycle plastic jugs by cutting an opening in the side while, keeping the handle in tact. This makes a great tote for small tools, screws and nails for household projects. Or line several of them up for storage in your workroom. It can also double for a clothespin caddy, or hand-held bucket for small painting projects. You can also punch some holes in the bottom and use it to spread grass seed or in a colder climate sand or rock salt in the snow. |

| 3.
Cut off the entire top of a jug and it becomes a great waterproof storage spot for steel wool pads and sponges under your sink. |
