Solution:
If you're installing molding, sometimes the math involved can make your head spin. Well, I have an easy solution to figure out those measurements. Traditionally you would measure the angle that the corner sits on and divide by two, but sometimes they're not even numbers so it's hard to line them up on the miter saw.

1. Instead of dividing the whole; determine half. Lay a straight edge against the wall and draw a chalk line parallel to the wall on the floor. Repeat for the second wall so you have two lines that intersect at the corner you're trying to match.

2. Grab a bevel gauge; it has a stationary arm and a swinging arm that helps determine the angles. Lay the gauge against the wall so that the elbow sits on the corner and match the swing arm to the point that your chalk lines cross.

3. Take the bevel to the miter saw and match the angle directly to that.

4. Remove the bevel gauge and make your cuts!
